Who Am I
I'm Fadi Jano (Arabic: فادي جانو) a Syrian artist who wants to use the power of his voice to make a difference. I am a great believer in the power of the mind and I believe that there is nothing I couldn’t do or handle. Everything is possible once you make a decision. I’m always living life to the fullest and will always appreciate what God has given me.
I was born in Damascus, Syria to an astounding couple and God has blessed my family with two sisters. At the age of 7, I began my musical career by performing patriotic, religious and children's songs. During that time, I participated in one of the largest choirs in the Middle East, Sayedet Demashq (Arabic: سيدة دمشق) led by Father Zihlawee. I studied in Syria until middle school and left to the United States at the age of 13.
When in America, I started school but kept my aspiration that one day I will be a star. I mean after all, that was my calling and vocation. With my Father being a doctor, he valued the power of education and urged me to finish my education and get a normal job. I listened to the first half, finished and graduated from College but focused on my music career instead. I started my career participating in many concerts and weddings singing the new and the old traditional songs.
My commercial musical career debuted in 2013 with my Arabic Pop style single Lamma Bteshtaa (Arabic: لما بتشتاق). Many more singles were released after and have reached people all around the globe.
I attract what I feel and make moves that will positively impact my life aiming to strengthen unity. My greatest hope is that my music will energize you, move your soul and carry you to a place out of the ordinary.
